법정 명령에 의한 재선거 진행 과정 및 절차 안내

1.     2021 년 9월 2일, 58호 법정의 존 도일 판사가 재선거를 하라고 판결하였습니다.

2.     2021년 9월 8일 당회가 열렸고, 김지훈 담임목사와 정장근 장로가 참석하였습니다.

●      김지훈 담임목사는 김광찬을 추천하며 후보 수락서를 공개하였고,

●      정장근 장로는 이진희를 추천하며 후보 수락서를 공개하였습니다.

3.     이에 김지훈 담임목사는 선거관리위원으로 김상정, 김세웅, 전용석 원로장로를 추천하며 정장근 장로 측에 선관위 위원 추천을 요청하였으나 응답이 없었음으로, 짧은 선거 일정상 선관위의 역할을 원로장로회에 일임하기로 하였습니다.

4.     투표 방법은 현재 COVID-19 위험 상황임을 고려하고, 가급적 많은 교인의 선거 참여를 위해서 우편투표로 진행하기로 하였습니다.

5.     전체 등록 교인 (2020년 기준)에게 투표용지를 우편으로 발송합니다 

⮚      본 선거는 선거의 4원칙: 보통선거, 평등선거, 직접선거, 비밀선거에 따라 실시합니다. 

⮚      바코드 사용으로 투표인의 비밀을 보장하며, 한 사람의 다중/중복 투표는 행정실에서 바코드 스캔 시 그리고 개표 시 바코드 스캔 시 두 번에 걸쳐 쉽게 확인이 가능하며 모두 유효투표에서 제외됩니다. 

⮚      노란색 투표용지 상단에 바코드가 붙어 있는지 확인합니다. 

⮚      2명의 후보자 중 반드시 본인이 지지하는 후보 1명 에게만 기표해야 합니다. (두 명 모두 기표 시 투표는 무효 됩니다)

⮚      투표용지에 반드시 서명(이름 아닌 싸인)을 해야 하고, 그 부분은 개표 시 절취하여 투표인 명부로 사용됩니다. 

⮚      투표용지의 기표 란에는 어떤 모양의 표시( O, X, V, 등)로도 기표 할 수 있습니다. 

⮚      투표용지는 반드시 동봉된 바코드가 있는 교회 반송 봉투(우표 붙어 있음)에 넣어 우편으로 보내거나 직접 방문하여 제출할 수 있습니다. 

⮚      9/17까지 우편 투표용지를 받지 못하신 교인은 행정실 (323-466-1234)로 직접 방문하시거나, 전화 또는 이메일 omcvote@gmail.com로 신청해 주시면, 교인명부 확인 후, 즉시 재발급해 드립니다.

⮚      본인이 직접 투표를 하셔야 하며 타인에게 위임 또는 대리 투표는 불법이며 금지합니다.

Information on the re-Election

Process and Procedure by Court Order

1. On September 2, 2021, Hon. Judge John Doyle of Court #58 ordered re-election.

2. On September 8, 2021, a Session was held, and Senior Pastor Chi Hoon Kim and Elder Jang Geun Chung attended.

• Senior Pastor Chi Hoon Kim recommended Kwang Chan Kim and indicated that Kwang Chan Kim accepted the candidacy.

• Elder Jang-Geun Chung recommended Jin Hee Lee and indicated that Jin Hee Lee accepted the candidacy.

3. In 2021, Senior Pastor Kim Chi Hoon Kim recommends Sang Jung Kim, Se-Woong Kim, and Yong Suk Chon as the Election Commission members. And requested Chung’s recommendation for the Election Commission through both counsels, but there was no response. Therefore, the Election Commission has decided to entrust it to the Elders Emeritus Council due to the election schedule.

4. The voting method has been decided to proceed by mail ballot sp that all members can participate in the election in the current COVID-19 situation.

5. A ballot will be mailed to all OMC’s registered members 

• This election is conducted according to the four principles of election: ordinary election, equal election, direct election, and secret election.

• You must sign the ballot paper, and the signed part will be separated and used as a voter list.

• Barcodes will be used to ensure voter confidentiality.

• Vote for only one candidate that you support among the two candidates on the ballot. 

• Vote for only one candidate on the ballot.

  (Regardless of how you mark it in the ballot box - O, X, V, etc.)

• Ballots can be mailed to the church in the enclosed pre-stamped return envelope.

• Ballots can be returned to the church in person by directly putting them into the ballot box in the church office.

• If you do not receive the mail-in ballot by 9/17, please come to the church office and request the mail-in ballot. The church will reissue the ballot immediately after checking the church membership list.

• One person’s multiple/duplicate votes can be easily screened with the barcode and computer program during the vote count.

• It is illegal and prohibited to delegate your voting rights to someone else or vote on behalf of others. Therefore, please vote for yourself.

Please participate in the election. And please express your opinion. The church and the court want to solve church problems according to the church members’ opinions.
